I have to start saying: Wow! At the time
that I got there, I was amazed to see the amount of the people waiting to get
in. I was at the parking lot and I was able to see that it was crowded. It was
really incredible to see the response from everyone (including me) to the fact
that Forever 21 was opening a store here in Guatemala, but the most incredible
thing is that they didn’t mind to make a line for hours to visit the store the
first day they were opening the doors for everyone, just like me, that I didn’t
mind to walk for hours in high heels around the store checking the beautiful
things they brought, thinking how to create some great outfits and of course
shopping!!! it was a success!
Tengo que empezar diciendo: Wow! Al momento que llegue estaba impresionada de
ver la cantidad de personas esperando entrar. Estaba en el parqueo y vi que
también estaba lleno allí. Fue increíble ver la respuesta de todos al hecho que
Forever 21 abriría una tienda aquí en Guatemala, pero más increíble ver que no
importaba hacer cola por horas para visitar la tienda el primer día que
abrieron las puertas para todos. Asi como yo, que no me importo caminar por
horas en tacones alrededor de la tienda viendo todas las cosas tan lindas que
trajeron, pensando cómo armar algunos outfits increíbles y por supuesto
haciendo shopping!!! Fue un éxito!
As you may know I am newbie on the
blogger thing, but I am so grateful to be part of the bloggers crew that were
invited to be part of the whole experience, including the VIP Pre-Opening party
on Thursday the 12th and also the Opening last Saturday the 14th.
I had the opportunity to meet the other beautiful bloggers and I admit that I
made some new blogger friends! Also, let
me tell you that I even got a detail from Stephanie (Stephanie’s Closet: www.stephaniescloset.org) and I am
dying to show you the gorgeous necklace she gave to me (one of her creations),
I felt very welcome!
Como sabrán soy medio nueva con el Blog, pero
estoy muy agradecida de formar parte del equipo de Bloggers que fueron
invitadas para ser parte de esta experiencia, incluyendo la fiesta VIP del
Pre-Opening el pasado Jueves 12 y el Opening el pasado Sábado 14. Tuve la
oportunidad de conocer las otras lindas bloggers y admito que hize nuevas Blogger
Friends! También, les cuento que hasta recibi un detalle muy lindo de parte de
Stephanie (Stephanie’s Closet: www.stephaniescloset.org) y me
muero por enseñarles el hermoso collar que me dio (una de sus creaciones), me
sentí bienvenida!
It’s really nice to meet other people
with similar interest and affections, and I have to say that (I don’t know
exactly how many people were visiting the store that day), but the place was
full of people that share the love for fashion, appreciate affordable prices
like me (the best part) and I loved to spend some time in there as an expectator
and sharing few words with some of you that I meet that day!
Es muy bonito poder conocer personas con
intereses y pasiones similares, y tengo que decir (no se cuántas personas
cuantas personas visitaron la tienda ese dia), que el lugar estaba lleno de
personas que compartimos el amor por la moda, apreciamos los precios accesibles
(la mejor parte) y me encanto estar como espectadora y poder compartir algunas
palabras con algunas de ustedes que conocí ese día.
And last but not least, as I promised… I
have a winner for the little treat that I offer!!! I enjoyed to see the happy
faces in the Instagram pictures and great outfits that you were wearing so I
admit that I was not able to decide myself for a winner, you all looked
gorgeous! So…I went to a website (www.random.org)
that helps to decide those kind of things, I assigned a number each one of you
so I got a winner!
Y por último, pero no menos importante, como
les prometí… tengo una ganadora para el pequeño regalito que les ofrecí!!! Disfrute
ver las caras felices en las fotos de Instagram y los lindos outfits que
llevaban, tengo que admitir que no pude decidir por mí misma por una ganadora, todas se miraban preciosas! Entonces, fui a la
página de internet (www.random.org) que ayuda a sacar random numbers y les
asigne un número a todas ustedes y obtuve una ganadora!
